Diligence is a Virtue

Jim burned the eggs he was making for dinner, giving Skylar the perfect opportunity to practice her new vocabulary on him:

"Daddy, you weren't diligent."

  1. The next day, Skylar blew me away by correctly referring to herself as "perseverant' when trying to get something done. These Montessori virtue lessons are quite impressive. The lingo around here now regularly includes the phrases "I am attentive/helpful/kind/patient/gentle/self-controlled." Amen!
