Big Guy
Tomorrow Porter goes in for surgery to remove a cancerous mass. We just found out on Saturday. The vet advised us to schedule it as soon as possible. Wish us luck. I have no words for how much I love that dog!
Surgery was canceled because the tumor was found to be bigger than previously thought, and the surgery would have to be very extensive with lots of potential complications. Porter is recovering from a biopsy, but his health appears to be going downhill rapidly. We' are waiting to see how he does, and trying to keep him comfortable.
Finally got a good night's sleep! It seems it was a bacterial bug causing the recent distress. Still not planning on the surgery, but thankfully porter seems to be doing much better, in the short term.
